Civil Servant Police is urged to change its Mindset, Attitude and Action

To improve the quality of service for community, The Civil Service Police Unit should change their mindset, attitude and action towards better. All this time, its image is unsympathetic, violent and arbitrary. Minister of Home Affair, Tjahjo Kumolo, as delivered by the coach of ceremony as well as Vice of Bali Governor Ketut Sudikerta, said that the negative view should be changed. The ceremony was held in City Park of Singaraja on 14/04.

Furthermore, the minister said that Civil Service Police is Civil Service which has more responsibility. So it should work harder to maintain the society’s peace and safety.

Ministry of Home Affair as a coach of this institution has delivered Special Allocation Fund (DAK) in 2015 for 54 regions which consist of 3 Provinces, 9 Cities and 42 Regencies With 126 billion of fund, the program was expected be able to use in infrastructures and facilities development. Through his speech, he expected that the fund can be a driver of government for more attention to the existence of civil service police, so that they can work smoothly and optimally.

Similar to Minister’s speech, Sudikerta also expected that the polices can work more professiona, especially in facing the community, the police should work based on law. He also demanded to community to more understanding about these police duties; it aims to minimize conflict among them. So a good coordination is very required.

On that occasion, Sudikerta who was accompanied by Buleleng’s regent Agus Suradnyana, also awarded to four polices who a god jobbed in Buleleng regency.

The event was attended by 900 participants who consist of Civil Servant Police and Public Protection Care from around Bali.

Heads of Agencies in Bali Province as well as from Buleleng regency were also attended that event.
