Vice Governor Sudikerta Invites Pertamina To Build A Coordination With Government

State-owned national oil company of Indonesia (Pertamina) as one of vital institution which has duty to distribute fuel and gas to Bali, should maintain the cooperation and communication with Bali provincial government in order to maintain the equitable distribution of these two as well as to accelerate Balinese people welfare. It was conveyed by Vice Governor of Bali, Ketut Sudikerta, when accepting group of Pertamina for Bali and NTB areain his office, on Tuesday (22/3).

“We should always strengthen the coordination, cooperation and communication in order to improve our performance quality,” explained Sudikerta while also expecting Pertamina always maintains the availability of fuel and gas (BBM) in Bali. “If BBM is not available, the economy will be not improve, so I expect Pertamina always pays attention to the BBM’s need in Bali,” added Sudikerta. He also reminded, by the limited stock of BBM recently, Pertamina do not being a resistor. BBM is one of indicator the Bali economy growth. Furthermore, he also reminded Pertamina to always control the using of BBM, in order to avoid subsidized BBM abuse. That subsidized fuel should be alocated by the community, not the industries, even the rich man. Sudikerta also demanded the participation of Pertamina through CSR program, in order to decrease the poverty in Bali.

Meanwhile Branch Manager of Pertamina for Bali and NTB area said that, Pertamina has tried to give a best service in distributing BBM in Bali for all this time. He also said that Pertamina is building new gas tank in Manggis village, Karangasem. So, he demanded Bali provincial government support to smooth that program. That new thank function to maintain the availibility of gas is more stable, regarding Bai is now vulnerable to shortages of gas. But, he ensured that stock of gas in Bali is stable.

Vice governor and Pertamina party also exchanged the souvenirs in that meeting.
