Postive signal comes from Minister of Transportation, Ignasius Jonan, related to some infrastructure developments in Bali, one is the development of railway. Jonan stated the readiness of his institution supporting the plan, if Bali provincial government has owned the land used for railway development. Moreover, the development is marely connecting Denpasar to Singaraja, and aims to equitable development between north and south part of Bali. Whereas APBN (state budget) not sufficient funding for whole part of Bali. It was coveyed by Jonan, while held a suddenly meeting with Bali governor, Made Mangku Pastika, in VIP transit room of Ngurah Rai airport, on Friday (13/11).

Other things conveyed by Ignasius is related to new airport development in North Bali. Based on review of airspace, Ignasius said there is no problem. However, APBN is not enough to fund that plan, because the expenssive of land in island and Bali is considered as one of rich province in Indonesia. To solve that problem, he suggested the full self-management system by privat sector. He promised issuing permits, while the plan starts running. According to rules of self-management, Bali will not suffer a loss. Bali will get a share of 51% of management right even it is built by private sector. Related to plan of Tanah Ampo bay development, Jonan demanded the explanation of governor about the management of existence buildings there managed by privat sector. Because it becomes obstacles of that project.

Responding the statement, governor Pastika expected these three plansof infrastructures could run smoothly becuase it will certainly boost the Balinese welfare. For railway plan, he still accpets even just connecting Denpasar-Singaraja. Pastika promished to conduct a study route as a base of railway development. Meanwhile related to unapproved new airport development by APBN, Pastika explained there are two private sectors ready to collaborate by self-management system. First one is Bali Mandiri as a member of one BUMN (state-owned enterprise), and Angkasa Pura can be a leading sector. According to Pastika, Bali Mandiri has finished its pre-feasibility study, so it is ready to collaborate. And the second one is from Kanada, but has not completed the feasibility study. It is also possible due to the period of study is until December.

Governor pastika who was accompagnied by head of Transportation Agency, Revenue Agency, Public Work Agency of Bali provincial government explained that Tanah Ampo managed by one BUMD (local government-owned enterprise) of regency government, because the development is a cooperation between Bali provincial government and Karangasem local government. The building was funded by provincial, and land and road access owned by local government. He expected the development will be continued, so the equitable development in east Bali will realize soon.
